FoodCostIQ Privacy Policy
What we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. Short version: we collect what we need to run the app, we don't sell it, and it's yours.
What we collect
- Your email address and password (for your account)
- The data you enter: receipts, ingredients, recipes, sales days, inventory counts, equipment records
- Usage data: which features you use, when you log in, which tabs you visit (used to improve the product)
- Payment information: processed by Stripe, never stored by FoodCostIQ directly
What we do not collect
- We do not sell your data to anyone. Ever.
- We do not share your financial data with advertisers
- We do not use your recipe costs or profit numbers for any purpose other than showing them to you
- We do not read your data to train AI models or sell insights to third parties
Where your data lives
Your data is stored on Supabase — a secure cloud database with enterprise-grade encryption. Data is stored in the United States.
How long we keep it
As long as your account is active plus 30 days after cancellation. After 30 days post-cancellation all data is permanently deleted unless you export it first.
Your rights
- Export all your data at any time from Account Settings
- Delete your account and all associated data at any time
- Request a copy of everything we have stored about you by emailing terry@foodcostiq.com
Cookies
We use only essential cookies required to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies.
